NICK HAYDEN, (Clayton Nemrow, "Verliebt in Berlin"), an Ivy League-bred American, was backpacking around Europe when he arrived in Berlin and decided to stay. Within months he founded Free Berlin - a slick company of backpackers and students offering free tours of the city. In short order, Free Berlin has become the biggest and most notorious company in Berlin's ever growing guiding community.

Hayden's leading competition - Englander Tours - attempts to hold its own in the new competitive market by distinguishing itself with quality guides including the legendary JASPER McCULLERS (Shaun Lawton, "John Rabe"), a 72 year old former Cold War spy, and CASEY RAINER (Aviva, "Superbad"), a down-to-earth grad student.

As the battle heats up, Nick resorts to guerilla tactics and physical confrontation in an attempt to squash his competition. In the meantime, he must deal with defection in his own ranks as his formerly loyal guides become disillusioned by his insatiable hunger for dominance.
